Here is a card made in baby blue, an unusual color for me;) But I must say, I really enjoyed working with the card. Ligth blue is such a summer color for me, water and sunny blue sky.
I've used yet another of my new Magnolia stamps. The stamp is colored with Distress ink and the wings has a touch of glitter. I have also used bking stones and the homemade flowers has also glitter on them.
The boarder is punched out in patterned paper with a MS punch. The wide darker blue swirls are in fact also a ribbon.
I made this card to a special friend of mine who is having birthday soon. The stamp on the front says : "joy" in English. The other text is a Chinese saying. Something about that one happy moment in life brings 100 sorrows on the run.
I have used my new Martha Steward scoring board to make this matching envelope. It was really easy to find the right measurements with the scoring board.
