DT Truly Scrumptious challenge Buttons and bows

This time we're lucky to have Meljen Design as a sponsor. I've used the very cute Baby Stork.
I've stitched the buttons to the design paper by tread. I have used liquid pearls among the buttons and on the image in swirls.
I've used this great vellum baby paper. It's been in my closet for ages, just waiting for the stork to come by..hihi;) I just love this lace I have used, it's so soft!
I hope you all will pop over to Truly Sprumptious and play along:)

Pink Summer

This is one of my favourite Magnolia stamps. I just love the dansing Tilda, she fits perfect for almost every occations. I've painted the image with Distress Ink and I have used pink stars to make the shaker effect. I original intended it to be glitter inside, but the glitter just stuck to the acetate. Anyone who knows how to avoid this problem? I've tried gelantine plates as well, but the same problem occured. Anyhow, this is my favorite tecnique at the moment, so I will keep on trying;)

Can you see the path of stars and pearls I have made in the rigth lower corner? I often try to take details from the front of the card and incorporate it on the inside of the card.

DT Truly Scrumptious challenge #61

This week at Truly Scrumptious Mandy has made a fab sketch to follow. I really enjoyed playing with it. I have tilted the sketch a bit to make it fit my image.

We're beeing sponsored by Robyns Fetish Designs. I desided to use the cute digi stamp "A little birdie told me". This is a great image to use to all occations

.
Sometimes you've got to be a bit lucky. I went trough my lates shopping and there it was, an acetate with flowers identical to the flowers on the cute birdie stamp. Talk about luck!:) I've also used a lot of bling on the flowers and also some glitter stickles on the bird.

It's a bit tricky to see but I have used a grey lace behind the image together with two narrow pink ribbons. On the bottom half is a doily that is coloured with distress ink.
